Vintage Christmas Trees in Any Era

Tis the season…. to decorate! Whichever side of the fence you’re on when it comes to real or fake trees, we all know it’s really about the decorating. My personal fave is a mix of new and old. There’s nothing like a classic fragile glass ornament paired with a new find from one of my favorite holiday shops.

This gorgeous, FULL tree screams ‘Classic Christmas’ all the way. With brands like Shiny Brite on full display, it’s necessary to douse it with tinsel! I also love how she has added the strips of fabric to bring it all together.

If continuity and uniqueness is your thing, opt for 2-3 choice colors of ribbon for your entire tree. You can go as heavy as you’d like with the amount of ribbon. This is the prefect vintage tree idea for all the minimalists out there.

There’s just something magical about a flocked tree. Maybe it’s the fact that it brings the frigid outdoors in without the actual frigid temps. The over-sized ornaments and floral accents make it feel extra cozy.

There’s nothing more classic that dried orange slices hanging from your tree branches. The aroma of orange mixed with fresh fir embodies the Christmas season. Hint: You can buy these orange slices already dried and ready for hanging if you don’t have the time to do it yourself!

What’s more vintage-inspired that velvet ornaments? Add that perfect wood or pompom garland, and voila. They have chosen natural elements like branches and pine cones with their neutral velvets to tie this tree together.

No matter what your heart desires when it comes to making all your Christmas tree dreams come true, just do what makes you happy. ‘Tis the season!
