In the third installment of our favorite wallpaper suppliers, we’re looking at the very best designs from Schumacher. A style leader and design trailblazer since 1889, Schumacher creates beautiful, luxurious wall coverings to suit a wide array of tastes. Here are some of our favorites, stocked here at State and Season home design and supply.
This Citrus Garden wallpaper is a fresh and whimsical print that could brighten up any room. Based on an archival 1947 Josef Frank print, its hand-drawn pattern is full of the designer’s signature style. Warm, modern, and fun, this wallpaper is a firm favorite in our books.
Lotus Garden is an elegant pattern that has been recreated from a 1920s drawing. It’s an ode to Japanese natural motifs, with a calming, zen feeling. Available in six colorways, this print could lend a unique charm to both classic and modern homes.
Beasts is a wild and fun print that we just adore. It has a charming hand-painted look, and it’s filled with an array of exotic creatures and botanical forms. This paper would light up a child’s bedroom or nursery just as easily as it would a whimsical bathroom or eclectic living space.
This Cork Herringbone wallpaper has a richly textured print that mimics whitewashed wooden wall paneling, offering a wonderfully simple way to enhance a room without a major remodel. It has a nice natural finish, with some metallic flecks peeking through the surface to glint and catch your eye.
A bold and modern print, this Queen of Spain wallpaper feels like a piece of abstract art. Schumacher introduced this pattern in 1963, and it’s a wonderful example of mid-century design.
